A strong woman from Pakistan battles leukaemia

There is a strong woman, her name is Zainab. She’s 26 years old, and she comes from Pakistan. Why I say she’s strong? Here is her story.

A wonderful wedding is every woman’s dream, and she was going to marry the man she loves. Everything was perfect, and everyone was busy to prepare the wedding. And suddenly things changed. Just 10 days before her marriage day, she got a fever and felt uncomfortable on her stomach. When she came to the hospital, she thought everything will just like normal, the doctor would give her some medicine and tell her to be careful, and after that she can go back and enjoy her wedding.

But this time, the doctor was serious, and told her that she was diagnosed with leukemia. When she first knew that she has leukemia, she was strong and patience. “I was only felt little upset that I can’t enjoy my wedding, because you see it was happened just 10 days before my marriage day. But I was happy and thanked God for granting me with such a beautiful relationship that I got married on the same day.” That’s what she told me.

“In the local hospital, the doctor told me that I only had 1 month to live, but I didn’t give up, as well as my family members and my husband. They never let me down, and gave me strength to fight with the leukemia. And beside my family members I also want to thank the organization which is contributing for my treatment. We belong to a mediocre family in Pakistan, doing jobs for daily living. It was not possible for us to pay such a huge amount. But when Allah holds your hand, He sends someone for help. And that organization name is Bahria Town Pakistan.”

After receiving two rounds of chemotherapy at a local hospital, she came to Lu Daopei Hospital for further treatment. With the help from International center of the hospital, her treatment was smoothly. And now her operation was successful, after two months she can come back to her country and have a new life.

That’s what she wants to tell other patients that have leukemia: “We should live every bit of our life like it’s a last moment and live it fully. We all know eventually we have to die one day that God better knows when. So make every new day better than the previous one, and always in urge of doing something good which make the soul satisfied, and try to skipping bad in you. And the most important thing: Never ever lose hope.”
