A university student named Mengmeng from Yanjiao, Guizhou, received effective treatment at Ludaopei Hospital.

Mengmeng, female, 21 years old, presented to our outpatient clinic on June 22, 2021, with persistent fatigue. Blood routine test showed WBC 479×10^9/L. Further bone marrow examinations confirmed acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-cell subtype). She underwent two cycles of chemotherapy, but leukemia remained unresponsive, with MRD (minimal residual disease) at 56.01%, and she also had central nervous system leukemia involvement.

On August 13, autologous lymphocytes were collected and chemotherapy was administered. On August 30, Mengmeng received CD7 CAR-T cell infusion. Two weeks after infusion, bone marrow examination showed complete remission, MRD negativity, and control of central nervous system leukemia. She experienced a grade 1 cytokine release syndrome (CRS) reaction with no central nervous system adverse reactions.
