Nanjing Children's Hospital

Nanjing Children's Hospital affiliated with Nanjing Medical University was established in 1953. It is a Grade-III Class-A comprehensive children's hospital integrating medical care, education, research, prevention, healthcare, rehabilitation, and health management. For three consecutive years, it has achieved the highest grade of A in the specialized hospital performance assessment and has consistently ranked sixth nationally and first provincially among specialized children's hospitals.

The hospital offers a complete range of specialized departments covering various fields of pediatric medicine, meeting the needs for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of children with major diseases, difficult and complex diseases, and critical conditions in the region. In 2023, the hospital treated 3.185 million outpatients, discharged 84,300 patients, performed 40,100 surgeries, with an average length of stay of 6.1 days. In the same year, it received 8 awards for scientific research achievements at various levels, obtained 8 grants from the National Natural Science Foundation, published 222 SCI papers, and was granted 30 patents.
